Sundsbergin ranta is a new residential area to be built by Espoo Bay, Finland, within a 20-minute drive from Helsinki. The area’s long history dates back to the 15th century, when farm owners with their wooden country houses inhabited the area.

New housing in the area will be a prime example of ecological and energy-efficient construction and living, offering characteristic and unique homes for approximately 100 households.

Kokoro & Moi is responsible for the brand identity for the area, extending from the naming to the logo and information graphics, from photo guidelines to advertising and online presence as well as printed matter from gift packaging to publications – among other things. The history of this unique seaside location is manifested in the core elements of the identity. The centuries’ old history of country houses and the surrounding natural world are present through the vintage emblem, photography and handcrafted natural materials.
