The PLAYFUL – New Finnish Design exhibition presented fresh concepts from individual designers and design companies during the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York in 2009. The focus of the event was on play and creativity as elementary forces in human life.

Kokoro & Moi is responsible for the PLAYFUL identity as well as the art direction of all promotional material from exhibition graphics to the website. As the name suggests, the identity was created under a playful and experimental process where hobo signs, design symbols, hieroglyphs and elements from comics, which were also present at the event, became one.
