Visual identity illustrating the themes of caring, working together, and believing in a better future.
Finland forward (Suomi toimii) is a COVID-19 communications project, led by the Prime Minister’s Office in Finland. The project invites everyone, from citizens to organizations and companies, to participate in a communications effort to strengthen people’s confidence in managing their lives and promoting trust in institutions and communities in this new situation. By using the project hashtags when communicating, the messages will be followed and acknowledged on the Government’s social media channels and the project website that brings together all related communications and messages.
Kokoro & Moi designed the visual identity for the project. The aim was to create positivity and hope during pandemic, and encourage people to act and support each other when getting through these challenging times. The illustration-driven identity conveys the themes of caring, working together, and believing in a better future, by a rich and diverse library of pictograms drawn in different styles.
