We developed the identity and were responsible for the exhibition design of the AIA New York 2013 Design Awards.
AIA New York’s annual Design Awards Program recognizes outstanding architectural design by New York City architects, along with work in New York City created by registered architects practicing anywhere in the world. The purpose of the Awards Program is to honor the architects, clients and consultants who have achieved design excellence.
Kokoro & Moi was responsible for developing the identity and exhibition design of the 2013 Design Awards.
The identity features a combination of a strict, city-plan-like grid system; and patterns with organic, molecular shapes representing life within and around these architectural environments. The chosen color scheme is based on the official New York City colors that a certain awesome sports team wears with pride. Score!
